Privacy Notice

How we handle personal data, in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

⚠️ ONE ITEM OUTSTANDING: ICO registration number will be inserted here once registration completes. All other details are final.

Inventory Lane ("we") respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal data we process, why, and your rights.

Who we are

Inventory Lane is a UK media sales and advertising brokering business. For the purposes of UK GDPR, we act as a data controller in respect of the business contact data described below. ICO registration: [registration in progress — to be inserted on completion].

What data we process

Why we process it (lawful bases)

Your rights

You have the right to: object to processing based on legitimate interests (we will stop prospecting contact immediately upon objection); access the data we hold about you; rectify inaccuracies; erase your data; restrict processing; and lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Opting out & suppression

Every email we send contains an opt-out instruction. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we add your email address and domain to a permanent suppression list and will not contact you again, regardless of the original source of your details.

Data sharing & transfers

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share only what is necessary: with email service providers (for sending), invoicing providers (for placements), and hosting providers. Where providers process data outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards.

Retention

Business contact data is kept while the business relationship is active or reasonably anticipated, or until you object/ask for erasure. Suppression entries are retained indefinitely (to honour your opt-out).

Privacy questions and opt-outs: any of the mailboxes above — both are monitored and an opt-out through either is honoured globally across the business. Data protection complaints may also be made to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
